Let’s Work Together
I believe people are naturally oriented towards their own healing & growth, and you don’t have to try so hard at everything. Just being, just living, existing as a human right in this moment is always enough & always a choice.
And at the same time, I also acknowledge that just because it’s a choice that’s available to us, doesn’t mean it always feels accessible, and it definitely doesn’t always feel easy. This can be especially true for people navigating major life transitions, those sitting at a crossroads of difficult decisions or folks looking to heal from difficult life experiences.
Sometimes we want professional support and guidance as we navigate the more challenging parts of being a person.
Sitting with the big life questions, finding a way through the dark parts and making sense of the non-sensical is my speciality.
My Coaching Style
I don’t believe my clients need me.
Instead, I’m here to offer a space for them to move through their own unique process. My approach to coaching is highly collaborative and relationship oriented. Translation? We are going to figure it out together and the professional relationship we foster is a big part of the process.
I bring a clear and direct communication style to our working relationship and believe we can tackle the most difficult topics with levity and honesty. I feel tremendous joy in getting to know and support my clients and never forget how sacred it is to walk alongside people in some of their toughest moments and choices.
My work as a therapist and coach is fueled by a love of humanity and people. I’m passionate about supporting folks in being who they are and living a life that feels like a true reflection and expression of that.
This is a space for talking, feeling, relating and reflecting.
Who Is Coaching For?
I work with people from all walks of life, across all ages and life stages. Some of my areas of focus are grief and loss, major life transitions, relationships, health diagnoses, and challenging family dynamics. Many of my clients are people who work really hard to achieve professional and personal success but are currently feeling like something is off, missing or are finding themselves feeling stuck in their lives. My coaching support might be for you if you are looking for a co-conspirator in bringing clarity to your situation so you can move forward confidently. I’m a best fit for those who enjoy a collaborative and supportive relationship that also brings focus and accountability to the forefront so we can get you where you want to be. While I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in what I do, I always hold my clients in high regard and as the experts of their own lives. We work closely together as two people rather than expert and client. It’s important to me that my clients feel heard, supported and understood and also feel challenged and stretched towards their goals through our work together.
Session Structure & Logistics
The frequency of our sessions is up to you and is something we can decide together based on your wants and needs. I see some clients weekly, some bi-weekly and some clients every few weeks. This can also change throughout our work together and we can adjust the frequency as needed. Sessions are 60 minutes long and done over Zoom. I see clients Monday-Friday and am relatively flexible on timing of sessions to honor your schedule. Sessions are $325/hour and I offer limited sliding scale prices ($250 and up) as needed. I am happy to talk through this if this is a need and do my best to support clients as I’m able.

“I cannot find the words to express how wonderful her work is. Alyssa is one of the most empathetic, attuned, and caring coaches that I have ever worked with. I truly felt able to explore my situation deeply due to her nonjudgmental stance, her understanding of the psyche and her creative ideas of how I could support myself during times of difficulty. Her approach is gentle, but directive which made me feel extremely held while doing this transformative work.”

"Alyssa Pressman is such a gift. I began working with her after joining a group she co-led that was a handful of months long. I loved the way she showed up for the group, and found myself feeling really safe and seen by her. I needed help navigating next steps in both my business and personal life so I decided to give 1:1 work a shot. Alyssa shows up in a way that is incredibly kind, supportive and engaging. She’s a solid coach who is amazing at reflecting back what she sees and hears from a clear and loving lens. She gives lots of space for feelings and processing, works both somatically and through conversation, and always offers choices and options within the work. She has incredible patience, is fully present and listens, and speaks from a solid place of understanding and processing. I’ve worked with both therapists and coaches, separately, but this work with Alyssa is next level. We deserve to be honored and held as we navigate our lives, and Alyssa is here for it."
